Open Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will take place in the city centre of Padova on Saturday 5th August at 15.30. The meeting place is Palazzo Moroni, the city hall of Padova (Via del Municipio, 1, 35122 Padova PD). After the welcome greetings, a parade with flag bearers will follow throughout via Roma and Corso Umberto I to reach one of the biggest squares in Europe: Prato della Valle. 

The parade will then end at Stadio Appiani, where all teams will be invited to take their seats in the stands. At 18.00 the opening showcase game will begin in the Women Division between Italy and Czech Republic.

Teams that are playing in the opening game don’t have to attend the opening ceremony. 

Closing Ceremony

The Finals will take place at Stadio Appiani on Saturday 12th August according to the following timetable:

• Open Final: 9:30

• Women Final: 11:30

• Mixed Final: 13:30

The award ceremony will be after each Final. The closing ceremony will follow the conclusion of all Finals and will include closing address and a thank you to all participants, volunteers and collaborators.
